Optional Work for Extra Grades
While I do not offer make-up work individually, I will assign one extra assignment each six weeks to ALL students.
As with other assignments, extra grades opportunities will not be accepted if they are turned in late.
Assignment #1 (First Six Weeks)
I have posted a list of Accelerated Reader books that relate to Spanish. Read one or more of these books. Then see me to take an AR test.
The last day to take an Accelerated Reader test for the 1st six weeks will be Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
This date will not change regardless of days missed.
Optional Assignment #2 (First Six Weeks)
Choose a Spanish-speaking country and decorate a tissue box following these directions:
1. One side of the box should have the name of the country you have chosen.
2. One side of the box should have a map of the country.
3. One side of the box should list 5 facts about that country.
4. One side of the box should show the country’s flag.
You should not use lined paper for this project. Use construction paper or colored paper. All 4 sides of the box should be covered entirely. Nothing should be placed on the bottom or the top of the tissue box. Please do not use glitter. I have sample tissue boxes in my room. You can see me during second lunch if you have any questions about how to complete this assignment.
Tissue boxes are due on or before Wednesday, September 10.
